Love poems
Upon Julia's Clothes
by Robert Herrick
Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Then, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
The liquefaction of her clothes.
Next, when I cast mine eyes, and see
That brave vibration, each way free,
Oh, how that glittering taketh me!

- 'I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion - I have shudder'd at it. I shudder no more.
I could be martyr'd for my religion. Love is my religion.
And I could die for that. I could die for you.'
~ John Keats - 'What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.'
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson - 'To keep your marriage brimming,
With love in the loving cup,
Whenever you’re wrong, admit it;
Whenever you’re right, shut up.'
~ Ogden Nash
