Love poems
Upon Julia's Clothes
by Robert Herrick
Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Then, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
The liquefaction of her clothes.
Next, when I cast mine eyes, and see
That brave vibration, each way free,
Oh, how that glittering taketh me!

- 'Where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.'
~ Carl Jung - 'To live is like to love -
all reason is against it,
and all healthy instinct for it.'
~ Samuel Butler, Life and love - 'Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone; it has to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new.'
~ Ursula K Le Guin
